Welcome to the 2025-2026 winter season! We are officially open seven days a week 9am to 6pm for all your outdoor adventures. It may not look like a winter wonderland in the valley right now but wildlife is out! Bighorn sheep and wolves can be seen in the National Elk Refuge if you are lucky. Definitely worth renting some spotting scopes and binoculars to get a better view!
The mountains are all snow capped and winter sports are kicking off! We have brand new 2026 Jones split boards for rent and if you are feeling like you want to try something different and built just for backcountry riding we have Phantom hardboot systems. For all our skiers out there we have Dynafit and K2 alpine touring setups for skiing backcountry. A note for ALL backcountry riders, don’t forget to ask about avalanche safety gear!
Those looking not to get high up in the mountains we have cross-country ski setups and snowshoes available for rent! These are great ways to take in the beautiful mountain scenery and getting your body moving. Also new for this year we are pairing with another local small business – Peak Performance for advanced backcountry cross-country skis. Peak Performance also provides backcountry cross-country guided trips for all levels.
At Jackson Hole Mountain Resort many ski lifts are opening with more to come with this approaching storm cycle! Even Snow King Resort has opened in town for riding if you don’t feel like making the drive to the village. If you are feeling up for a scenic drive Togwotee Pass is open and is great for cross country skiing! Feel free to reach out with any questions!
