Reese brings a wealth of experience in the outdoor gear rental industry to our team. Hailing from Ogden Utah, he’s been on our team since 2021. In his free time, he likes skiing the Tetons, and long sufferfest days on the trails in the summer. Make sure to ask him about his favorite hikes.
Tyler joined us at our Yellowstone Canyon Village location in 2021 and was immediately hooked on the area! Him and his dog Copper love adventuring and playing with their new drone!
Pat graduated from Bentley University in 2011 with a B.S. in Economics and Entrepreneurship. After graduation he had his sights on the mountains. A few months on the road exploring the western half of our country landed him in Tahoe City, California. Tahoe opened Pat’s eyes to life in the mountains. He snowboarded during the winters, and learned how to read rivers in the summer. In April 2013 he spent a couple weeks in the Tetons climbing and splitboarding. After that stint there was no option, The Tetons needed to be home as soon as possible. He arrived in Jackson at the beginning of November 2013 with the best winter of his life ahead of him…
The idea for Teton Backcountry Rentals was born when Pat had a group of college friends visiting from Boston. They couldn’t find any rental gear that they needed for a camping adventure, and so it was decided, Pat would start a rental delivery service! All winter he was looking for the right business to start in Jackson, and he finally found it! He has been working since March, 2014 to establish relationships with suppliers and potential local business partners. The company has come together quickly, has a long ways to go, and it is changing every day. It’s an exciting process!

Jacques moved to Jackson in June of 2013 after a visit to the area just two months prior. It didn’t take too much convincing for him to realize that Jackson Hole was where he wanted to be. His love for mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and camping lead him to set up in Jackson Hole and pursue the business of renting the very items that enable his outdoor passions. Upon graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, he spent two years working as a field engineer on the drilling rigs in the Appalachian region. After seeing the potential in Pat and Teton Backcountry Rentals, Jacques signed on to TBR in May of 2014 as Pat’s partner in the business.
Jacques has since moved away from Wyoming to pursue his aviation career aspirations. Nonetheless, he continues to collaborate with Patrick to ensure Teton Backcountry Rentals grows and thrives. No matter where he is currently, Jacques diligently maintains the website and online presence of the business.
