Beyond the lift lines

There’s more to Jackson than long lift lines and crowded slopes! Skiing in the Jackson Hole backcountry opens up all new terrain options. In order to get there, you need a backcountry ski setup as well the knowledge of travel in the backcountry.

Teton Backcountry Rentals offers a variety of alpine touring skis, including both men and women. Rentals include touring skins. We also offer package deals for those looking to be set up with boots and poles.

Touring Skis

Introducing our quiver of premium alpine touring (AT) skis. We carry K2 and Rossignol skis in a multitude of sizes to ensure we have something to offer for everyone.

The skis are mated to lightweight Dynafit ST Rotation Test tech bindings that feature pivoting toe piece. This evens out impacts that can affect ski and binding during a dynamic and powerful descent.

Earn your turns! All skis come with custom-cut Voile or Pomoca climbing skins to get you first one up the skin track.

Touring boots

Touring skis are just one part of the backcountry skiing equation. In order to have a true touring setup, you need a pair of Alpine Touring (AT) ski boots.

Normal downhill ski boots are not compatible with our fleet of K2 and Rossignol AT skis which feature Dynafit tech bindings.

We offer a few different models that’s bound to please all types of backcountry skiers. The Dynafit TLT Speedfit is a softer and lighter boot that is great for touring and excels on the skin track. The Dynafit Hoji Free 110 is for those looking for a more “resort-like” boot that is stiffer with more forward lean. The Tecnica Zero G Tour AT is an all-around best-of-all-worlds choice.
