There are many places to go snowshoeing in Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, and the surrounding areas! Taggart Lake is a popular trail, it’s only about 3.8 miles and you get amazing views of the Tetons on a clear day!
There are a BUNCH of places to cross country ski, from beginner to pro skill levels! Our best recommendation for those new to cross-country skiing, from ease of the trail to spectacular views, is the Grand Teton National Park road. The road is closed just past the Taggart Lake trailhead parking lot and is groomed regularly throughout the winter season. In addition to the spectacular views, the groomed path is nice and flat for beginners to ski the 4.5 miles all the way up to Jenny Lake! Check out JHNordic.com for XC skiing trails in the area as well as grooming reports!
