The America the Beautiful Interagency Annual Pass — Resident edition is available exclusively to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. It grants unlimited access to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites across the United States for 12 months from the month of purchase, covering entrance fees at national parks, national forests, national wildlife refuges, BLM lands, and other federally managed recreation areas.
At park entry, it covers all occupants of a single non-commercial vehicle.
The pass covers the pass holder and up to three accompanying adults at sites that charge per-person fees.
What it includes:
- Unlimited entries at participating federal recreation sites for 12 months
- Covers the pass holder plus up to 3 adults at per-person fee sites
- Covers all occupants of a single non-commercial vehicle.
- Valid at Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and thousands of other sites nationwide
What it does not include:
- Camping, boat launch, or parking fees unless bundled with entrance
- Sites managed by state or local agencies
- Expanded amenity fees at some locations
Good to know: Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required at time of issuance. A government-issued ID is sufficient in most cases.
